The Northwest Ohio Chapter of AFP is pleased to partner with a number of community organizations and businesses that support the mission and professional development work of AFP and philanthropy in Northwest Ohio.
AFP Board Members’ Organizations: We extend a special thank you to the many organizations that support our Chapter by allowing their staff to participate in AFP as Board Members.
The Toledo Community Foundation has been our lead partner for many years. Annually, the Foundation underwrites webinars hosted by the Chapter so that these educational programs can be provided at no cost to AFP members and community participants. TCF also underwrites the AFP membership scholarship program.
National Philanthropy Day Sponsors – please visit our NPD page for a complete list of annual event sponsors.
Center for Nonprofit Resources: Annually, we partner with the Center to host at least one professional development workshop that features a nationally known fundraising speaker. The collaboration includes scholarships to cover the program registration cost.
United Way of Greater Toledo: New in 2014, the United Way is partnering with AFP to serve as the host site for the annual webinar series. Check out this year’s webinar in the events calendar.
AFP International: Annually, one member from our chapter who has never attended the International AFP Conference is awarded the Chamberlain Scholarship to cover the registration fee. Our local application process opens in the fall and is facilitated by our Scholarship Committee. As funds permit, the Chapter also awards a small travel scholarship to the Chamberlain Scholarship winner. Contact our Scholarship Committee Chair for more information.
Lourdes University: In 2013, Lourdes served as the host site for the annual webinar series.
The University of Toledo: Prior to 2013, UT was the host site for the webinar series.
